PATHFINDERS COUNSELING

About Christa.

Christa Flamion,
LCSW

Hello, I’m Christa Flamion, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and Kentucky, and the founder of Pathfinder Counseling.

For me, counseling is more than a career — it’s a calling.

I believe every person has God-given worth and the potential to move from surviving to truly thriving. My role is to walk beside you with compassion, skill, and hope as you navigate the challenges of life.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, first responders, and military members, walking with them through seasons of grief, trauma, transitions, and healing. I see therapy as a journey we take together — one step at a time — where your story is honored, your strengths are recognized, and new possibilities are discovered.

My Approach

I blend faith-informed care with evidence-based therapies, tailoring each session to the needs of the individual, couple, or family. My style is warm, relational, and down-to-earth. I create a safe space where you can be fully yourself — whether you prefer a clinically focused approach, want to incorporate prayer and Scripture, or seek a balance of both.

My Heart for Community

Beyond private practice, I am passionate about equipping others — teaching Mental Health First Aid, writing articles on mental wellness, and providing education for churches and community groups. I believe healing isn’t just for the counseling office; it can ripple into families, congregations, and communities.

Rooted in Wholeness

My work is shaped by a wholistic view of wellness — spirit, soul, and body. Just as a garden requires care, patience, and nourishment to flourish, I believe people thrive when given the right conditions for growth. My love for gardening and naturopathic practices inspires the way I approach counseling: gently cultivating space for healing, resilience, and new life to take root.
