Why Pathfinders?
The name Pathfinders Counseling was chosen with deep purpose.
“In Scripture, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). He is the ultimate Path — the One who leads us to hope, healing, and eternal life. At Pathfinder Counseling, this truth is at the heart of our mission: walking beside people as they seek direction, strength, and renewal in Him.”
The name also honors the legacy of the military Pathfinders — specialized soldiers trained to navigate unknown terrain, mark safe zones, and guide others safely through difficult missions. Just as Pathfinders cleared the way for others to follow, counseling provides guidance in the midst of uncertainty, helping to chart the way forward with courage and clarity.
This dual meaning — biblical and military — reflects who we are: faith-rooted, resilient, and committed to walking alongside others no matter where their journey begins.
